Locally based business people and executives will be looking for hotels in Swindon later this month, as one of the major banks with a presence in the city starts to host a series of breakfasts for SMEs.
The initiative by HSBC will see a number of breakfast meetings take place, dedicated to helping Swindon’s small and medium sized enterprises grow and take market opportunities.
The first event takes place later this month on Wednesday 26th March. Running from 7.30am until 9am, the venue is the Stratton head office of local chartered accountants, Banks.
Hosting the first event will be HSBC’s business specialist team leader, Ryan Starr. Also presenting ahead of a question and answer session will be local business coach Nigel Scott. Following the organised presentations, attendees will be able to network with each other.
The series is the brainchild of HSBC business specialist Caroline Norrey. She said:
“We want to be able to give added value to our SME business customers, by putting on events which offer both useful presentations and the opportunity of networking with other businesses.”
Norrey was eager to explain that the forums are not just open to customers of HSBC, however. Thanking Banks for the use of its venue, she said that reaching out to the whole local business community was another reason why a neutral venue was selected to put on each event.
With further forums already planned for June and October this year, a good Swindon hotel will be ideally placed to help those staying over for the early starts in the town.
