About us continued...

Swindon has grown during this time and many multi-national businesses have moved to the town. As a consequence big hotel groups have also arrived but none even aspire to the same personal touch found at Best Western Premier Blunsdon House. Constant reinvestment in facilities and a management ethos that dictates that guests are treated as individual people, not a room number, is frequently commented upon by many customers that have also become friends.

Over the years Community Service Clubs have based themselves at the hotel, and in turn we have been pleased to support them and their fund raising efforts whenever possible.

Probus Club of Thamesdown - Every other Wednesday

The hotel responds positively whenever possible to the numerous requests received for raffle prizes from local schools and charity organisations. An annual donation is made to the local Prospect Foundation Hospice and an amount is also donated each year to the Mayor of Swindon’s Helping Hand Fund. The hotel is often approached by local people embarking on fund raising campaigns and the Garden Room (ballroom) may be offered free of room hire charges for worthy charitable events.
