Night Auditor/Receptionist (Part-Time)
About Us
We are a privately owned, 4-star hotel located on the outskirts of Swindon. Our extensive facilities include 108 bedrooms, three bars, two restaurants, comprehensive Conference & Banqueting spaces, a Leisure Club, and Secrets Beauty Salon.
We are a high-volume, dynamic venue catering to a diverse clientele including corporate delegates, leisure guests, wedding parties, seasonal events, and more.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and responsible Part-Time Night Auditor/Receptionist to join our team.
The Role
Pay Rate: £13.00 - £13.25 per hour
Working Pattern: 2 nights per week (Wednesday & Thursday)
Hours: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Flexibility: Must be flexible to cover additional shifts on occasion to meet business needs, including holiday and sickness cover.
Key Responsibilities
As the Night Auditor/Receptionist, you will be the key point of contact for all guests and the primary operational staff member overnight. Your duties will include:
Audit & Administration: Accurately and timely completion of the Night Audit process.
Guest Service: Providing an efficient and welcoming reception experience, including check-in and check-out procedures. Promptly and efficiently dealing with all guest queries.
Hotel Knowledge: Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all hotel room categories, rates, packages, promotions, and general product information.
Security & Safety:
Being responsible for the security of the hotel and guests overnight.
Ensuring the safety of staff and guests at all times.
Completing and recording the mandatory Fire Walk check.
Implementing and maintaining company standards of Fire safety, hygiene, and health & safety at all times, taking necessary action where required.
Operational Checks: Ensuring the Night Porter checklist is fully completed.
Standards: Working to, understanding, and adhering to 4-star standards in all aspects of the role.
Requirements
Proven ability to consistently demonstrate a high level of customer service.
Good communication skills.
The ability to work effectively and responsibly alone.
Previous experience in a similar Night Audit or Reception role is preferred.
