Food & Beverage Assistant (Part Time) Closing date: 18 May 2026

We are a 4* privately owned Hotel on the outskirts of Swindon with 108 bedrooms, 3 Bars, 2 Restaurants, extensive Conference & Banqueting facilities, Leisure Club & Secrets Beauty Salon.

We are a busy venue with corporate delegates, leisure guests, celebrations events, Weddings, Christmas Parties and much more. We are currently looking for a Part Time Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team.

The Food & Beverage Assistant role is varied working both bar and restaurant/functions. Previous experience of working in both bar and restaurant are required along with exceptional customer service skills as well as an eagerness to learn and progress.

Must be confident, a good communicator, friendly, approachable and hardworking and flexible to work varying hours.  Shifts may include 7am-3pm, 10am - 6pm, 12 - 8pm 3pm - 11pm, 5pm - 2am(The hourly rate is enhanced for any hours worked past midnight)

£8.00 - £12.71 per hour (age dependent)

Previous Bar experience is required for this role .

Commis Chef (Full Time) Closing date: 18 May 2026

We are currently looking for an experienced Full Time Commis Chef to work 40 hours per week 5 days over 7 which includes some weekends. Hourly rate £8.00 to £12.71 (age depending)

·         Assisting in the food preparation process

·         Cooking and preparing elements of a variety of dishes

·         Preparing vegetables, meats and fish

·         Assisting other Chefs

·         Assisting with stock rotation, cleaning stations

·         Minimum 12 months relevant experience

·         Awareness of manual handling techniques

·         Experience of kitchen equipment

·         Experience of equipment such as knives

·         Basic knowledge of all sections

·         Ability to work under supervision 

·         Ability to produce good quality food

·         Understanding of health and safety

·         Understanding of basic food hygiene practices

·         Good oral communication

·         High level of attention to detail

·         Positive and approachable manner

·         Team player

Food & Beverage Supervisor (Full-time) Closing date: 18 May 2026

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience in this role type, ideally within a 4* Hotel environment
Excellent Customer service skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels
Experience of supervising and motivating an F&B team within a Hotel environment
A positive attitude
Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations


Hours of Work: You will be required to work 5 days over 7 which will include weekends on a rota basis. Shifts will include 6am - 3pm, 3pm - 11pm, 5pm - 2am
